The late 1960's
Skyland Care Center was founded in the late 1960's by an upstanding citizen named Pearl Hayes. Pearl ran the business alongside Ethel McDarris and their families until 2003. Skyland Care Center has since been taken over by a family that has worked very closely with the Hayes family to keep the original morals and ideals.
Throughout the years, Skyland Care Center has never lost that family atmosphere, which has proven so successful.

Skyland Care Center is still a privately owned rehabilitation and long-term care center nestled in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina. We provide excellent care for your loved ones.
